Just one hours drive north of Sydney
The Central Coast is located in a unique position midway between two major Australian cities. Just one hours drive north of Sydney, the region is a world of beautiful coastlines, golden beaches, alluring lakes and pristine National Parks.
The region covers an area of 1,854 square kilometres of which 80% remains ‘natural’ and undeveloped, and is managed by two of the largest Local Governments in NSW, Gosford City and Wyong Shire.
Over 1.3 million domestic overnight visitors each year
Central Coast Tourism has prepared the Central Coast Destination Management Plan for the Visitor Economy 2013-2017 which identified and aligned viable catalyst tourism projects. With over 10,000 people are currently employed in the tourism and hospitality sectors and Bouddi National Park recording almost 1 million visits in 2014 the Central Coast provides the ideal location to establish your tourism or hospitality business.
